How Mangal Dosha is judged
Mars is the planet of drive, heat and separation. When it falls in one of the five sensitive houses it is said to strain the seventh house of marriage, so classical texts read it before matching horoscopes. The 7th house (partnership) and 8th house (longevity of marriage) placements are considered the strongest, the 1st, 4th and 12th milder.
