Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using JYTS.H (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use JYTS.H. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission.

3. Account and authentication

JYTS.H uses phone number-based OTP authentication via Firebase. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone number and any access to your account. Notify us immediately at hello@jytsh.online if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. The Service

JYTS.H provides:

• Vedic astrological chart computation based on your birth data (date, time, place).
• Daily AI-generated insights, including energy scores, karma tracking, sky pressure readings, and daily acts, grounded in your chart and current planetary positions.
• An AI chat interface for chart-based questions and reflections.
• Muhurta timing windows, dasha period information, and related Vedic astrology content.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Important disclaimer: not professional advice

JYTS.H provides entertainment, educational, and reflective content based on Vedic astrological traditions and AI interpretation. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, legal, or any other professional advice. Do not make significant life decisions based solely on content provided by JYTS.H. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services.

Astrological readings involve interpretation and are inherently uncertain. We make no warranty that any reading, insight, or recommendation will be accurate, applicable to your situation, or beneficial.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Some features of JYTS.H require a paid subscription ("Premium"). The following applies:

• Subscription pricing and terms are displayed at the point of purchase within the app.
• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Their respective terms govern payment processing.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancel at any time through your device's subscription management settings.
• We do not offer refunds beyond what is required by applicable law or the App Store / Play Store's own refund policies.
• We may change subscription pricing with advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content that violates any third-party rights.
• Share your account credentials with others.

8. User content and data

You retain ownership of the personal data and content you provide to JYTS.H (birth data, life context, chat messages). By providing this content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it to deliver the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide. Incorrect birth data will result in incorrect chart calculations and all downstream insights.

9. Intellectual property

The JYTS.H name, logo, design, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JYTS.H AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JYTS.H and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any other reason with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the app Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Mumbai, India.

16. App Store terms

If you download JYTS.H through Apple's App Store or Google Play, the terms of those platforms also apply to your use of the app. In the event of conflict between App Store/Play Store terms and these Terms, these Terms govern to the extent permitted by the platform.
